  Inspired by the  Ramayana Mahabharatam stories of the grandmother

Director Rajamouli said that Ramayana, the grandmother of Bahubali in his childhood, was inspired by the Mahabharata story. Rajamouli participated in the interview with students on Saturday at Manipal Institute of Technology in Udupi. Speaking on this occasion, he said that he was mostly reading books with fantasy and crime and hence would be more interested in taking pictures of that kind.
