Tamilnadu (Chennai): Madras High Court issued notices to senior actress and politician Vijayasanthi. In the case of sale of real estate in Chennai and Egmore, a person named Inderchand filed a petition in the High Court. In 2006, he purchased the assets of Vijayasanthi for Rs 5.20 crore and received Rs 4.68 crore from Power of Attorney documents. But the same assets have been sold to someone else.

The court then dismissed a petition filed by the local George Town Court to take appropriate action against Vijayasantham. Inderchand approached Madras High Court. The petition was filed on Saturday.
